Narrative
This week for Mrs Jones's writing group we got to make a narratives about a taniwha called awarua, and a albatross called rereroa. first we got to copy a slide then on one of them we got to write a narrative about why the taniwha awarua wanted, to fly just like her friend. but once we got self checked buddy checked and teacher checked we got to, copy and paste our writing then past it onto a google drawing then decorate it. once we did we got to publish it to our blogs then go on story scrambler. then write about that then post it.

Haiku poem
Last week for Mrs Jones writing group we have been doing poems about spring, and some of ours could be chosen the flower festival, but the festival was cancelled because of covid-19 .we got to do a Haiku poem, diamante poem, and a cinquain poem, on each poem we wrote many different things about spring. for each poem about spring, we had to use nouns adjectives and verbs about the things that happen in spring and about it. after we finished we got to decorate our poems with what, our poem is about, and then we got to post them to our blog. but the first one I choose to post is my Haiku poem.

Olympic champion profile (Arthur Lydiard)
Hey readers! for the past 3 weeks Mrs Jones's reading and writing groups have been learning about the Olympics, Mrs Jones's reading group Tom Fletcher got to read and make a copy of a Olympic champion google drawing profile first we got to read a text about him. I had learned that he ran between 24 - 400 kilometres a week. he was interesting to read about and about his amazing races, and how he trained and inspired new champions.

Te reo classroom objects
Hey readers! for the past couple of weeks we have been learning about naming classroom objects, in te reo moari and in colour. we got to make a copy of a google drawing and make little arrows, and point them to classroom objects, and at the end of the arrows we wrote and said whats at the object in moari, before we did it we got a piece of paper glued into our books showing us the name of the object in English and in moari.

Olympic champion profile( Nadia Comaneci)
Hey readers! for the past 4 weeks Mrs Jones's group in Tom Fletcher we have been working on and learning about the Olympics, my group got to make an Olympic champion profile. we got to choose an Olympic player to do a profile about I chose Nadia Comaneci, I got to write facts and info about her. Nadia Comaneci was a great gymnast, and she was only 14 when she started and scored a perfect 10 in gymnastics.

Hey readers! today for Mrs Jones's reading group Tom Fletcher we got to do another Olympic champion profile. this one was about Violet Warlord, she was the first female New Zealand player and the youngest female player in the Olympics in the 1920 Olympic games. we also got to read a text about her before we copied the Olympic champion profile and started it then post it onto our blogs.
